The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards 2016 (for more info see here) ended on October 1st. The overall winner is Angela Bohlke.
Amusement isn’t the one thing this yearly occasion that concentrates on, but also revealing the humorous side of nature – as the author's say on their website, “way, more importantly, this competition is about conservation.“ They make an effort together with Born Free Foundation, a conservation charity, and animal welfare that takes action across the globe to save lives, end suffering and protect species in the wild.
In her article “10+ Of The Funniest Entries From The 2016 Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards,” Linda D. states that “Founded by two passionate wildlife photographers, this quirky competition showcases the cute silliness of glorious animal kingdom. This year‘s awards have six amazing categories to explore and we assure you that there‘s no shortage of fun in them."
